# Julian Aijal

Hi, I’m Julian Aijal, a digital growth professional with a focus on performance, user experience, and front-end web development.

I’m currently a Senior SEO Specialist at DPG Media Nederland, where I help drive organic growth across multiple media platforms. My work spans developing and implementing SEO strategies, optimizing web performance, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve both user experience and search visibility.

Alongside my professional work, I contribute as a Website Strategist for [TEDxAmsterdam](https://www.tedxamsterdam.nl/ "https://www.tedxamsterdam.nl/"). I work on the website and digital marketing strategy, focusing on site structure, user journeys, SEO, and performance analysis.

Previously, I spent several years at TNW ([The Next Web)](https://thenextweb.com/author/julianaijal "https://thenextweb.com/author/julianaijal"), where I held multiple roles including Frontend Developer, Technical SEO Manager, and SEO Manager. During that time, I worked closely with engineering teams to integrate SEO best practices into development workflows, contributed to major redesigns and platform migrations, and optimized content to grow organic traffic. My front-end background allowed me to create websites that were both SEO-friendly and high-performing.

Beyond SEO, my web development skills enable me to troubleshoot front-end issues and collaborate seamlessly with technical teams. I enjoy combining technical expertise and marketing strategy to build fast, user-centric websites that attract traffic and deliver measurable results.

Outside of digital work, I serve as a General Board Member and Campaign Coordinator for [PvdA Amsterdam Centrum](https://amsterdamcentrum.pvda.nl/wieiswie/julian-aijal/ "https://amsterdamcentrum.pvda.nl/wieiswie/julian-aijal/"), where I coordinate election campaigns, support local representatives, and lead volunteers to strengthen our community presence.
